My name is Megan Smith. I am a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and specialization in History. My desire for teaching came from my patience for children and passion for helping others. Through my years of experience working with young people, I have garnered an appreciation of their determination to expand their knowledge. I hope to be able to instill a sense of wonderment in every student who enters my classroom.

Being a recent graduate, I understand the importance of a good work ethic and strive to be the best model for my students. With my specialization in History, I have a love for understanding the past to help us understand the present, and shape the future.

When I'm not in the classroom I am enjoying a good film, playing board games, or spending time with friends and family. I have participated in TCNJ's i-Tunes A Cappella and All College Theatre which were creative outlets to express my passions that I continue to pursue.
